Each towel or robe carries a small Datamars LaundryChip™. RFID reading points capture items automatically when they are issued, returned or carried through selected control areas. When integrated with the facility’s management or checkout software, these read events can help staff identify items that have not been returned while the guest is still present.

The same RFID infrastructure also provides accurate information about how many textiles are available, issued, in circulation, awaiting laundry or missing. This helps prevent shortages during peak periods and reduces manual counting between shifts.
