Each garment, linen item or reusable textile carries a washable RFID transponder with a unique identity. RFID readers capture that identity at key process points — intake, sorting, washing, finishing, dispatch and return — without manual scanning and without line-of-sight. The data flows into software, where it becomes usable information for inventory visibility, wash-count tracking, loss control, billing and reporting.

RFID laundry tags used in industrial washing must withstand high temperatures, chemical detergents, hydro-extraction, tumble drying, ironing and mechanical pressing. RFID flat linen tracking is designed for laundries processing high volumes of sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, tablecloths, towels and napkins. Each item carries a LaundryChip™ and is read automatically in bulk through pass-through portals, cabinet systems or tunnel readers integrated into the laundry flow. UHF RFID can read up to 1,000 items in 3 seconds, without separating items and without line-of-sight. This enables automated counting, client-level reconciliation, accurate wash-count records and transparent billing while the laundry line keeps running.

RFID workwear and uniform tracking helps ensure that the right garment reaches the right operator, in the right size, at the right time. Each uniform, PPE item or workwear garment carries a LaundryChip™ whose unique identity can be linked in the software to a wearer, department, size, garment type or service process. RFID readers automatically identify garments at key process points, such as issue, return, laundry intake, sorting and redistribution. Combined with tracking or laundry management software, these read events are recorded and converted into usable information about garment movements, status, wash history and replacement needs. This supports employee-level garment assignment, automated dispensing and return systems, PPE compliance documentation, loss reduction and more accurate inventory management across workwear programs.
