Datamars Textile ID brings connected textile innovation to TXCA & CLE 2026 in Shanghai
From source tagging and digital textile identities to RFID solutions engineered for demanding healthcare environments, Datamars Textile ID will bring its latest connected textile technologies to TXCA & CLE 2026, taking place September 21–23 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Lamone, Switzerland – August 2026 – Datamars Textile ID will return to Shanghai this September for Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo (TXCA & CLE) 2026, one of Asia’s key meeting points for the professional textile care and laundry industry.
From September 21 to 23, visitors will be able to meet the Datamars team in Hall N5, Booth N5B08 and experience technologies designed to make textiles more identifiable, traceable and connected throughout their lifecycle.
This year’s showcase will focus on a powerful idea: RFID traceability can begin long before a textile reaches the laundry. By combining RFID tags, automated source tagging, cloud-based digital identities, reading infrastructure and software, Datamars enables businesses to build a connected textile ecosystem spanning manufacturing, textile care and end use.
Among the technologies on display will be Tag-on-Label, Datamars’ automated source-tagging solution designed to integrate the LaundryChip™ directly into textile labels during production. By moving RFID integration upstream to the manufacturing stage, textile producers and their customers can simplify deployment, improve consistency and create RFID-ready textiles from the very beginning.
Alongside it, visitors will discover Twinify, the Datamars cloud-based Digital Twin Platform, which gives individual textiles a unique digital identity and connects physical items with their associated data. The result is a foundation for greater transparency and traceability across the textile lifecycle, opening new possibilities for manufacturers, laundries and textile service providers.
For healthcare and other highly demanding applications, Datamars will also showcase its Gamma-Ray-Resistant LaundryChip™, engineered to maintain RFID functionality even after repeated gamma sterilization processes. Designed to withstand more than 100 gamma sterilization cycles, the solution brings reliable identification and traceability to textile environments where standard RFID technologies may face extreme operating conditions.
See the connected textile ecosystem in action
TXCA & CLE visitors will not only be able to explore individual products, but also see how the different elements of the Datamars RFID ecosystem work together.
Datamars will once again join forces with Thermopatch to bring the RFID HUB experience to the booth, combining RFID technology with professional heat-seal and tag-application solutions in a practical, live environment.
Demonstrations throughout the show will include RFID tag application, heat sealing, digital twin creation and high-speed RFID reading, providing a tangible view of how textile identification can be integrated into real operational workflows.
For laundries and textile service companies, these technologies can translate into significant operational advantages: faster textile counts and processing, fewer manual tasks, improved inventory visibility, reduced textile losses and better control over textile circulation.
For textile manufacturers, they create the opportunity to add digital identity and traceability directly at source, delivering products that are ready to enter increasingly connected and data-driven textile ecosystems.
Meet Datamars Textile ID at TXCA & CLE 2026
As textile care operations across Asia continue to evolve towards greater automation, transparency and efficiency, TXCA & CLE provides an important opportunity to see how RFID can support that transformation in practice.
The Datamars Textile ID team will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss specific applications across industrial laundry, hospitality, healthcare, workwear, textile rental and manufacturing, and to demonstrate how the right combination of RFID tags, readers, software and automation can help businesses improve operational performance and maximize the return on their RFID investment.
